I am interested in many topics in Chemistry and tackle them from a theoretical perspective. A brief outline is given below and more details can be found on each subpage.

Origins of life:  I am currently focusing on describing reaction dynamics in the context of possible pathways for origins of life. The idea is to try to understand how fundamental molecules like aminoacids and nucleotides were formed. For more details – Origins of life.

Exciton dynamics: I have also worked on understanding and describing exciton dynamics in natural and synthetic systems. In particular in photosynthetic complexes. For more details – Exciton dynamics.

Reaction rate constants: One fundamental problem in Chemistry is that of finding reaction rate constants and understanding what facilitates or impedes a reaction from proceeding. I have done some work on this topic as well. For more details – Reaction rate constants.
